QLD: Ill prepared Kokoda trekker faces hefty rescue bill

BRISBANE, Jan 15 AAP - A British tourist who fled a tragic past only to end up lost and
injured on Papua New Guinea's rugged Kokoda Track for 22 days faces a bill of at least $35,000
for his rescue by Australian troops.

Clive Sutton, 30, had no medical or travel insurance when he set out on a three-day trek
along the treacherous jungle path at the peak of the wet season in shorts and a T-shirt,
