BOARD BALKS AT ZONING APPEAL BID.(CAPITAL REGION)

Bethlehem Two of the town's political entities are on opposite sides of a debate over a garbage company's plans to build a truck storage facility on rural land in Selkirk.

On Wednesday night, the Town Board voted unanimously to withhold funds from the Zoning Board of Appeals, which wants to appeal a state Supreme Court decision made last month that overturned the board's approval of Waste Management Corp.'s plan to build a facility between the Hudson River and Route 144.
